Paula and Paul's Fairytale Garden Wedding

We've seen a lot of themed weddings, but none so beautifully or completely realized as Paula and Paul's fairytale, enchanted-forest wedding. They incorporated unique, DIY wedding details in their dress, decor, and events.

To start, the bride Paula's hair was skillfully braided with multicolor flower accents reminiscent of Rapunzel. This was well matched with a plush bouquet of pink peonies, and fuchsia, blue, yellow and purple florals. Both the bride and her bridesmaids wore verdant moss-covered slippers adorned with more flowers and dragonflies. And to round out the bridal party, add to that the cutest procession of flowergirls dressed in bright, multicolor, tulle dresses with fairy wings.

The fantasy wedding theme flowed into the decor as well, with oversized wonderland paper flowers lining the outdoor ceremony aisle. The ceremony altar was backed by antique white, glass-paned doors and white picket fence posts draped in purple tulle and flower garlands. Regency Garden, Paula and Paul's choice for their wedding and reception venue, perfectly complemented their theme with its lush, green outdoor garden, fountains, and twinkle-light wrapped trees.

Following the ceremony, newlyweds Paula and Paul took some time with us to capture some unique bride and groom portraits, set against blue and purple smoke bombs to create a magical atmosphere.

Then it was on to the reception, where family and wedding guests were welcomed by pastel tables each decked out with their own custom centerpiece crafted by the bride: a moss-covered forest diorama of gnomes, fairies, toadstools, and teapots. After dinner, guests were offered a formidable array of sweet treats including a scrumptious donut wall and a tree-bark-iced wedding cake.

Paula and Paul's wedding was enchanted in the truest sense of the word!
