Amanda and I anticipate the arrival of spring every year, with the hope that the normally drab Sonoran desert might green up and explode with color. Most years the wildflowers are modest at best, but every decade or so we get just the right amount of rain and cooler weather to lay the foundation for a great spring bloom.
